

The company supports Spanish fashion, being consolidated with the signing of the licence agreement with Armand Basi in 2001, followed by agreements with Adolfo Domínguez and Victorio & Lucchino in 2002, all internationally acknowledged designers.
In 2003 Optim creates and develops the exquisite Gaudí Eyewear collection, inspired by the Modernist work of the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, and in 2004 the firm adds renowned Spanish fashion designers like Pedro del Hierro, Roberto Verino and Lois to its portfolio of licensed brands. In 2008, Optim enthusiastically launches two new collections: Gaudi Concept, a new concept in vision, and Guy Laroche, the first international brand in Optim’s portfolio.
Since the company opened up to the overseas market in 1992, Optim sells its products in over 60 countries including France, Italy, United Kingdom, Portugal, Belgium, Nordic countries, United States, Mexico, Canada, China, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Russia, Brazil and Australia.
Its presence in international fairs of the optical sector, like Mido in Milan, Silmo in Paris, Vision Expo East in New York and Siof in Shanghai contributes to greater awareness of its brands and penetration in new markets.
In order to sustain the international growth forecast for the coming years, in 2008 Optim inaugurated a 4,600m2 logistics warehouse equipped with the latest distribution technology. The company aspires to consolidate and increase the presence of its designer brands in the international market and reinforce its position of leadership.
